✨ Zelda Black ✨
BIO:
My names Zelda Diana Black, I’m from New York and I’m an influencer, voice actor, author, and mental health advocate. I started my voiceover journey when I did impressions on Tik Tok and slowly realised that this was something I could do and that I really wanted to do. I decided not to go to college for psychology and pursue my voice acting dreams. In the meantime, during the pandemic, I self published a poetry book called Butterfly Words which touches on topics like mental health.
Interview Series
1. If you could live out your WILDEST dream with no fear of failure, what would you be doing?
If I could live out my wildest dreams, I’d be voice acting. My whole life I’ve felt out of place, but when I’m in the booth everything is as it should be. Nothing makes me happier.
2. What is the most memorable, funniest, or craziest thing that has happened to you on your entertainment journey?
The craziest thing that happened to me in the entertainment industry would be meeting most of the cast of Avatar the Last Airbender. That show was my childhood and it was life changing seeing them and making videos/content with them!
3. Congratulations! You just hit the lottery for 100 million dollars! What do you spend it on?
If I won the lottery, I’d be moving to Los Angeles and upgrading my studio. I’d also donate a bunch of it to the environment, mental health studies, and to organisations within the arts.
4. Do you have any hidden talents or party tricks?
I don’t think I have any hidden talents. I don’t like to hide any part of me that shines.
5. What advice would you give to your younger self?
I’d tell my younger self to not worry about what other people think and to do things that scare you.
6. Who, in the entertainment industry, do you love that you think more people should know about? Why? Shout them out and spread the love!
There are SO many people in this industry that I love!! I’ll be really quick because I could ramble on forever about these people. Grey DeLisle Griffin I owe a lot to, Scott Holst is my coach and he’s the best I could ask for! Krizia Bajos and Cissy Jones are two lovely voice actors that I admire and I aspire to be just like them! All of these wonderful people have helped me on my journey and they are all genuine people. They deserve all the love.
