Interview Series

1. If you could live out your WILDEST dream with no fear of failure, what would you be doing?

My wildest dream would to be able to choreograph a Broadway show, and have my name in the playbill.

2. What is the most memorable, funniest, or craziest thing that has happened to you on your entertainment journey?

The most memorable thing that has happened on my entertainment journey, I think is getting that first phone call for my very first professional contract.  Getting ready to go to my seasonal job working at a theme park at a food stand, getting a phone call from a random number that I didn’t recognize changed my life. I will never forget thinking “I actually did it, all of that hard work paid off”

My craziest moment would have to be, on two separate contracts many years apart. I tore my meniscus in my knee. You would think being a dancer it would have happened doing something spectacular. You would be wrong. Both times it just happened when I would try and stand up from sitting on the ground.

3. Congratulations! You just hit the lottery for 1 million dollars! What do you spend it on?

You’re telling me I won a MILLON dollars?!? The first thing I would do is pay off all of my mothers and grandmothers’ debt, so they could live debt free. The next thing I would do it pay all of my debt. Then once all of that debt is paid off, I would take all three of us on a long vacation to Australia. If I had any money left after all of that I would love to open a dance studio of my own. The arts has changed my life so much and I would love to help mold young artist into the wonderful performers that I know they can be.

4. Do you have any hidden talents or party tricks?

I don’t have any hidden talents that I know of. So I guess you can say my talents are still hiding because I have not found them yet.

5. What advice would you give to your younger self?

Trust yourself, don’t give up, and push yourself harder as a performer every single day.

6. Who, in the entertainment industry, do you love that you think more people should know about? Why? Shout them out and spread the love!

I immediately think of two people who have come into my life many years apart. But their love and knowledge of the arts is so strong. These two people would have to be Dwaine Wells- Ehrisman (www.instagram.com/tinyears/) and Alexis Gleason(www.instagram.com/lexgleason/). Both of them are so sweet, creative, and so passionate that it just warms my heart to see them go and do big things in their career.
