Interview Series
1. If you could live out your WILDEST dream with no fear of failure, what would you be doing?
If I could live out my wildest dreams, I would be dancing backup for Chris Brown. I’ve been a huge fan since he was 15 years old and his dancing encouraged me to step outside of my own comfort zone and attempt to showcase my talent in front of others
2. What is the most memorable, funniest, or craziest thing that has happened to you on your entertainment journey?
The most memorable thing that has ever happened to me on my entertainment journey is going to Atlanta, Georgia for a show called, “So you think you can dance”. I was extremely nervous. I went to the restroom 3 times before it was my turn to dance in front of the judges. To my surprise, I passed the first round and got a chance to dance for the television judges. When my number was called I got in the middle of the stage and my mind went completely blank. I heard the producer yell, “next”! I was so bummed out afterwards.
3. Congratulations! You just hit the lottery for 100 million dollars! What do you spend it on?
If I hit the lottery for a million dollars, I would spend it on my community. I live downtown and there are so many homeless people living on the streets. I would hire a team to help the needy and provide jobs so everyone can live a descent life starting in my neighborhood. I would later expand to other locations and call it, Perfect Community.
4. Do you have any hidden talents or party tricks?
My hidden talent is that I can perform a somersault at 34 years old. No matter how old I get, I want to always feel young. During dances I would sometimes pull that move out of my bag of tricks to separate me from other dancers.
5. What advice would you give to your younger self?
If I could give my younger self any advice it would be silence. I wouldn’t tell the younger me anything. I have gained so much knowledge from my experiences in life. I wouldn’t be the man I am today if I didn’t go through the gruesomeness of this thing we call life. It has allowed me the wisdom I have to this day.
6. Who, in the entertainment industry, do you love that you think more people should know about? Why? Shout them out and spread the love!
A person in the entertainment industry I admire the most is Kevin Ross. He is an immaculate singer and song writer. He is so underrated. He has the voice of an angel. I haven’t heard anyone else JJ’s the notes he does as a male R&B singer. He could easily dominate the charts if giving more notoriety.
